Shifters
Eye color is like humans–No flicker, no flame.
Their lions do not have names.
Males have barbs penises like the always furry.
Females only ovulate if their chosen bedpartner has barbs.
They only need to feed(drink their parents’ or mate’s blood once a month to sustain the magic or heal body damage)
In Dell’s Wood-mamas run the show and kick their sons out at sixteen to mate(marry).
If their sons are not chosen by a female or matchmaking mama, they become Best-Kept.
Best-Kept are basically prostitutes, unless they can find legitimate jobs. Someone pays for their food, clothing, and shelter, and in exchange, they provide sex.

Descended from the primordial goddess Thesis
Always in mourning for the living and the dead.
Hand-Me-Down Boys- the magic is handed down.
Amethyst Girls
Collectors-remove memories from people and replace them. Some, collect magic.
Confessors-lovers for the Kings and Queens. Keep the secrets of their lieges.
Some, however, are Confessors for the magic.
Walls talk to some-replaying past highly emotional events, happy or traumatic.
Fingerprints left on objects leave memories and thoughts behind.
Their eyes glow with white fire, no matter the color. If the fire is snuffed, they are resigned.
Fever pitch-they are emotional.
Smoke-they are pissed.
Midnight blue-their lion or lioness has taken over, and they have checked out of the situation.
Must feed every day, to sustain the magic.
Their lions have names, notably as the middle name. Lion’s names are a secret to everyone but their mates and the god Ether, who collects the lions to be reborn.
Their lions do talk to the Skin.
The first name is the name of the Skin.
Blood-rights
Descended from the god Ignis
Deal in blood magic-blood locks, blood protection shields for properties-they bleed on it, say the spell, and one can only enter if invited.
One drop of their blood in a shot(alcohol) and they can spell the drinker.
One drop of their blood along with others’ in a glass, and everyone bleeding is bound to a pact.
From the glass, it’s a pass-means, they can feed someone to sustain them, but from the glass does not mate them. Parents feed their children this way.
Also people who they should be mated to, but the Witches screwed them over, so they cannot smell like their true mate, so they feed them from a glass with a splash of juice.
Eyes have amber or orange fire.
Collectors can take and rewrite memories. Their magic answers to the elements, so they can burn those extra memories away, unlike Demi-Deuil.

Shielding-their physical vessels, their scent, or their thoughts.
Wave of a hand to light a candle or snuff.

Cendres- one touch ashes everything and everyone
Flèche-as in arrow-penetrates magic
Arc-as in bow-directs the magic

Witches
Back in the day they were the Confessors to Kings and Queens
Ignatius Masters wanted Bleu Belle, King of Belle Pride. Coveted Bleu’s magic.
Bleu was the son of Thesis, a god, and a Demi-deuil.
Mates share magic.
Bleu did not want Ignatius and mated to the God Ingis’ first born- a set of twins.
Ignatius killed a Blood-right at their wedding, stole the man’s fire, and destroyed the barn with that fire, burning Bleu and his new mates alive.
Winnow Masters, Ignatius’ sister was refused by Dell Bennedetti, and added to the war her brother started.
The Witches and Felines have been fighting since.
